Last Saturday the Welsh Senior and selected Juniors Championships took place at NIAC. Cardiff Athletics athletes won 6 Gold,6 Silver and 8 Bronze individual medas. In selected Junior events Cardiff athletes won 1 silver, 2 Bronze individual medals, with Junior Relay teams winning Gold, Bronze in U15B Relay race, our U15G Relay team won Silver medals.
There were many fine individual performances at NIAC with top of the list Sam Gordon's winning 60m in 6.69 a CBP. Sam was followed home by Jeremiah Azu 2nd (U20) in 6.81, and Dewi Hammond 3rd also in 6.81. A clean sweep for Cardiff's sprinters.

BRONZE MEDALISTS
Dewi Hammond - 60m. Lizzie Harris - 800m. Ben Reynolds - 1500m. Adam Moshsin - High Jump. Ben Hillman - Long Jump. Sara Gearly - Long Jump. Curtis Matthews - Shot. Melissa Bird - Shot.
Curtis Matthews a Multi Event athlete, enjoyed himself on day, winning 2 Gold, and 1 Bronze, medals.
JUNIOR MEDALISTS
U15G Millie Webb 300m - Silver. U13B Harvey Lee 800m - Bronze. U15G Iona Roderick 1500m - Bronze. RELAY TEAMS U15B - Gold & Bronze. U15G - Silver.
