The Cardiff Bay Run returned to the capital on a sunny Sunday morning and hosted the Welsh 10k Road Champinships.
Cardiff Athletics had lots of blue vests competing which was fantastic to see and as the race gained pace the likes of Dan Nash, James Hunt, Morgan James, Ciaran Lewis, Matthew Edwards, Elliot Richards and Lloyd Shepherd-Brown were all in contention, but it was Dan Nash that went on to claim a Welsh Championship Silver medal with a time of 30:08. Whilst Christian Prior claimed victory in the M40.
The Female race was also very competitive with Carys Hughes, Rebecca Evans and Helen Sharpe all running strong races, as a result Carys Hughes claimed the bronze in the Welsh Championship and Helen Sharpe claimed the M40 title.
Well done and congratulations to all the Cardiff Athletes.
