Athletics season has sprung into action with some great performances around the world involving athletes representing the club.


Congratulations goes to Jake Hayward breaking his Welsh record in the Diamond League meeting in Eugene, USA. He finished 7th in a quality field with a Welsh record 3.51.99.


Lauren Evans had a PB in the combine events in Bedford finishing 6th with a total of 5097.
At the same meeting saw Harri Wheeler in his first senior Decathlon finish 14th with PB of 5342


At the BMC meeting at Sportscity saw Larry Ryan get a PB in the 5000 finishing 3rd in his race.


Cardiff junior park run saw Millie Gold finish first with a PB 6.34s. Jack Stewart was the first male home in the same event.


Welsh Junior Development League took place in Cardiff. Cardiff athletes had some fantastic performances during the day. Everyone should be proud of their contribution to making it a wonderful day for all.
