Welsh Road relay 24.9.22 Pembrey

U13 girls team came first in 27:21s. Team members Bryony Boyce, Isobel Davies, Poppy Osborne and Lily Parsons.
U13 boys A team were second in 25:16. Team members were Finlay Burns, Jack Harries, Charlie Lee and George Turner.
U15 boys team saw 3 of Cardiff teams finishing in the top 4 places. The winning A team members were Joshua Sanders, Iwan Froley and Tomas Davies.
U15 girls team saw Cardiff teams finishing second and third. The A team consisted of Millie Gold, Mabli Phillips and Rebecca Harries.
U17 men’s team consisting of Cian Harold, Rhys McNabb and Benjamin Price finished 5th.
U17 women’s team finished 4th and 5th . The team finishing 4th consisted of Neve Jones,Grace Cargill and Emma Goddard.
Senior men’s team consisting of Alex Jackson,Rhys Hardman, Ben Hughes and Oliver Price finished 6th.
Senior women’s result not showing as yet

London mini marathon saw a number of Cardiff athletes taking part. The race is over 2.6 km covering the last part of the London Marathon course.
Bryony Boyce had an outstanding race in a close finish. She came 4th in the U13 race but was given the same time as first and second.
Millie Gold had a fantastic race coming 5th in a time of 8:37. Mabli Phillips came 30th in 9.11.
U13 boys race saw Finlay Burns finish 6th in another race with a close finish.
Joshua Sanders came 20th in the U17 race in a time of 8:08 and Iwan Froley not far behind in 28th.

Well done to all representing Wales and Cardiff Athletics.

Cardiff Half Marathon took place on a lovely day for road running. Mike Ward came home in 13th position in 1:06:18. Chris Prior M45+ came home in 41st position in 1:12:59.
Owain Schiavone M40+ finished 52nd. Rhys Hardman finished 60th.

On the 1st October saw Cardiff half Future Challengers, Harry Turner finished 2nd in a close finish. Third overall
Rhodri Amos U15 came 3rd and fifth overall.
Rebecca Harries was first in the U15 girls race and 10th overall
Kara Bennett was second in the U17 women’s race. And 15th overall
George Turner was 2nd in the under13’s and 18th overall. Oscar Hayles was 4th U13 and 34th overall.
Elinor Roberts was 3rd U13’s and 44th overall.
In the fun run Daniel Millar came 5th.
Well done all our future stars that took part.
