Cardiff Throws Aberdare.
A number of throws enjoyed competing at Aberdare in the Cardiff Throws.
Charlie Goodwin F38 came 1st in the shot throwing 8.57m.
Kourtney Williams U13 threw a PB of 6.14m in the shot and 9.55m in the javelin.
Jack O’Keefe U15 had a throw of 25.39 in the discus and 31.99 in the javelin.
Gary Piazzon threw a PB of 40.52m in the javelin breaking that 40m barrier.
At Bedford England’s U15 and U17 championships took place.
Aharon Mulvaney ran 59.25s in the 400m hurdles just outside his personal best. And he finished 2nd in the pole vault 1 cm below his best jump. A great silver medal to take home.
Anais Shepperd had a solid run in the 300m with a time of 41.46 just outside her best. She finished 6th in the final with 41.67s very consistent running.
Well done both.
New PB for Cian Harold last night in Exeter, 2:01.3 ranking 1 in Wales first year U17 .Well done
Wanda Diamond League saw Jake Heyward come 9th in the 1500m in 3.34.99s
Eli Onyewu won senior men’s 100m at Charnwood AC Open, Loughborough.
BMC GP Loughborough saw David Locke come 3rd running 1.47.39 in the 800 m
Rhi Linington Payne recorded another personal best running 2.05.66 to finish 6th in her 800m race.
