Bethan Davies produced one of the best performances for a British woman walker at the World Race Walking Championships. On a very warm day over a challenging loop Bethan finished 18th in a time of 1.42.25 over a distance of 20 km.

This sets Bethan up well, for the summer’s Commonwealth Games.
