AGM Calling Notice – Thursday 25th November 2021

The 52nd Annual General Meeting of Cardiff Amateur Athletic Club (Cardiff Athletics) to be held on Thursday 25th November 2021 at 7.30pm in the clubroom located at Leckwith, with the COVID pandemic still affecting the way we operate and ensuring the safety of the members there will be a zoom option to join the AGM remotely.

To consider any matters arising from the 2020 minutes
Chair’s report
To receive the report of the General Committee
To approve the financial report and accounts
To announce the subscription rates for the ensuing year (rates are decided by the general committee)
To appoint Patron
To elect President (Trustee position)
To elect Chair (Trustee position)
To elect Treasurer (Trustee position)
To elect members of the General Committee
To appoint an auditor
To appoint Life Members
To appoint Club captains
Any other business

Any paid-up member aged 18 or older may attend and vote and nominate another paid up member to one of the following general committee positions (current holder in brackets).

The cross country and road coordinator (Paul Darney)

The volunteer coordinator (Peter Gregson)

The Welsh Athletics Representative (Graham Webb)

Two additional members (Bernie Plain MBE and Ian Mulvaney)

Nominations and notices of motions must be in writing, signed by two members entitled to vote, and delivered to the club manager not later than 15th November 2021. (office@cardiffaac.org)

Members wishing to attend the AGM in person at the clubroom must contact the club manager no later than 15th November 2021. Members are politely reminded to not attend in person if they are showing signs and systems of COVID 19. Mask must be worn if attending the AGM

Members wishing to attend via Zoom confirm attendance by 15th November the members will then receive a link to attend the AGM no later than 24th November 2021.
